Bazzill Basics History
Doug and Marti Jones founded Bazzill Basics in 1999. The company began as a paper outlet supplying their own retail scrapbooking store in Mesa, Arizona. Word got out that there was a new source for buying cardstock and calls came in from other stores in the area. Doug agreed to sell to the local scrapbook stores and shortly afterward requests poured in from all over the country. As word got out and cardstock became the important staple of scrapbooking, Doug and Marti began to take the prospect of selling cardstock more seriously.
After establishing itself as the leader in the paper sector, Bazzill Basics began creating other products and embellishments to support the paper line. Bazzill Basic's business continued to grow as it stressed the ability to provide non-proprietary products at competitive prices, as well as provide new solutions (proprietary products) to the growing demand for coordinating paper and products. The company continues to operate under the importance of reliable service and with industry leading creativity. To date, Bazzill Basics has nearly 2000 skus of cardstock in a variety of colors and sizes combined with about 2000 skus of complementary products.
